Introduktsia: Zdorovenki. Welcome to Project VISKA. Depending on your learned environment, you may know me as Vi, S, Ka. Project VISKA is the combined lifelong effort to put all of my stuff in one centrally accessible nexus. It won't always be called this. I am a 27 year old russian speaking jewish woman living in the state of New York. I like to walk around, talk to people, and write about love, physical constraints, and dreams. The Lord is far away up above, somewhere. I do not like programming, even html is enough to give me a rip roaring headache. Mind your learned environment, and you'll have nothing to fear. I have a deep love for the ARCHANGEL:NEMESIS.
I write stories, draw sometime, play guitar. rollerblade. Photography is nice. I try to pray and keep a clear head. I like sociology and anthropology a lot. I like to try and get my head around why humans do the things that they do. I don't go on many websites regularly anymore, except for friends' sites and 4chan. I like /ck/ a lot, /x/ is my homeboard but I dont go there too much anymore. bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/violetlafleur.bsky.social

Anime I like:
There isnt much quarter for anime around here, which is a shame. Although maybe I haven't seen anything really twisting recently, which is always possible. Anyway, I love Hellsing very dearly, I watched the english version as a child and I've steadily been rewatching it every year or so. I don't care for the OVA at all, except for Rip Van Winkle. Shes cool. Boogiepop Phantom is pretty cool too, although I've only seen it once, and it seems like the thing that requires multiple re-watches to take in fully. Akiba Maid War is a lot of fun. Moe. Moe. Kun. 5cm per second is a winter warm bitter sad film I return to every so often, a kind of trembling innocent thing. Watamote and Chuunyibou are ones I liked watching a lot in my childhood. Horou Muzuko/Wandering Son is a painful thing that twists my heart to witness.
Anime adjacent things of which more quarter is shared: Subarashiki Hibi was my first foray into Theater of Cruelty and has gripped me to never let go, its a horrible sickly thing that lives in my soul. Wonderful Everyday. Would love to read Sakura no Uta if localization ever comes out, the artwork makes my heart soar. Katawa Shoujo holds a special embrace of my heart, I played it while young and impressionable. The band from K-ON! makes really cute songs. Vocaloids are nice, I like listening to russian versions to have a little understanding of the lyrics.
Games I like:
SOMA, Prey 2017, Cruelty Squad, Fallout New Vegas, Far Cry 5, Bastion, This War of Mine, The Long Dark, Life is Strange, Max Payne 3, Postal 2, Project Snowblind, Red Faction Guerrilla, STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl, State of Decay, Subnautica, NOITA, FTL Faster Than Light, Balatro, Recettear, Left 4 Dead 2, Call of Duty 5, Post Void, Receiver 2, Eldritch
